Near-Term Challenges – and Opportunities!
In 2007, the Child Rescue Centre (CRC) significantly expanded the important work it is doing to help severely neglected, orphaned, downtrodden, and otherwise forgotten children in war-ravaged Sierra Leone, find hope, joy and renewal.  We are dramatically expanding our work into the community to help Sierra Leone’s poorest of the poor, in order for these children to experience love, care, growth and triumph.

We welcome and encourage your support.  Here is a list of just some of the critical programs that have been implemented but need ongoing financial support:

Mercy Hospital - a 25-bed primary care facility serving the children and community of Bo.

Increase the number of children in the child support program from 100 to 150, providing educational supplies and support.

Expand the number of children who will receive foster care from zero to 30.

Establish scholarships so that many of the youth who are now completing secondary education will be able to attend college or vocational programs.

Expand the Trauma and Behavioral Health Program to include training in peaceful conflict resolution, building and maintaining healthy relationships, and fostering personal growth.
